You don't need an account to use Manim Tutorial. If you signed in (with Apple, with Google, or with your email address), you can delete that account and the data linked to it at any time, directly in the App, on iPhone, iPad and Android.

How to delete your account

  1. Open the Manim Tutorial app on a device signed in to the account.
  2. Go to Mine → Account → Delete Account.
  3. Verify with one of the account's sign-in methods, then confirm.

Deleting your account cannot be undone.

Purchases of courses and the Workspace stay with your Apple ID or Google account and can be restored with "Restore purchase".

What is deleted

  • Every sign-in method on the account, together with the stored identifiers and email addresses.
  • All devices signed in to the account are signed out.
  • The AI conversation content stored for the account's devices — the text you typed, the project code and the assistant's replies — is deleted within 30 days, usually within 24 hours.
  • On iPhone and iPad, the App also asks Apple to revoke this App's Sign in with Apple authorization and revokes its access to your Google account.

What is kept, and for how long

  • The credits and monthly course credits left in the account are returned to the device you delete it from, which keeps them in an anonymous device AI account without any personal information. You can keep using them without signing in.
  • Purchase records, without any conversation content, are kept only as needed for accounting and refunds.
  • To prevent abuse, our server records which accounts each device has signed in to in the past 30 days. This record holds only a device identifier and an account identifier, and it is deleted after 30 days, even if you delete your account.

If you never signed in

If you never signed in and want the data of your device's AI account deleted, email us at byutech.cn@gmail.com.

Usage statistics and data on your device

Anonymous usage statistics use a random identifier created for the device or installation, not your account. You can turn them off at any time in Mine → Share anonymous usage stats; when they are off, the App stops sending and deletes any statistics still waiting on the device. On our server, detailed event records are kept for up to 90 days and per-device daily activity for up to about 13 months; after that, only daily totals are kept.

Your learning progress is stored only on your device and is removed when you remove the App. Code you write in the Workspace and your AI chat history are also stored on your device.
